This week on Antiques Roadshow...
On April 6th, 2009, (this coming Monday) the 2nd Chattanooga episode of the PBS show Antiques Roadshow will air.
This episode will feature a segment on baseball in Chattanooga.
The segment was filmed at AT&T Field in Chattanooga, current home of the Chattanooga Lookouts.I was fortunate enough to be asked to assist in this episode last May. I got to travel back home to Chattanooga and see the ballpark again.
Unlike the Fox Sports show, I am not on camera on Antiques Roadshow.
My "stuff" is on camera!Several items from my personal collection are featured including a picture of Hall of Fame member Harmon Killebrew in his Lookouts uniform and a 1910 cigarette card featuring Fred Miller, a pitcher with the Chattanooga Lookouts.
Host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Philip Weiss discuss the items and their values.
The taping was a great deal of fun and the crew was great. We all went down to the Blue Plate for lunch after the taping and had a great meal.
I hope to work with Antiques Roadshow again in the future!Check your local listings for times.
I believe here in Dallas the episode airs at 7pm Monday? I guess I better look, too!
