 A little about Andy....

Andy has been a fan of cartoons, comics and baseball cards since about the time he could walk.
His first pack of baseball cards were purchased at an Exxon gas station in East Ridge, TN back in 1983 and he hasn't looked back. Now he sees baseball cards everyday of his life! Andy has been the Senior Vintage Card Grader for Beckett Grading Services since November 2004. In 2008, Andy had the honor of grading and authenticating an example of the most expensive baseball card in the world, a 1909 T206 Honus Wagner. That same card sold for $317,000.00 in May of 2008.
His writing and cartoons can be found in the monthly Beckett Media publications and online.
He is a collector all all things Chattanooga Lookouts baseball and pre WWII baseball cards. Andy also collects comics and books on magazine cartoons and he collects original comic art.
His favorite cartoons are those found in magazines such as the New Yorker and Playboy. He once took a 10+ year collection of Playboy magazines and cut the cartoons out and threw the rest out! Some read it for the articles, Andy reads it for the cartoons!
He is a devout student of comic history and his original comic art collection goes back to 1822!

Some of his favorite cartoonists include: Lee Lorenz, B. Kliban, Sam Gross, Dan Piraro and Jack Davis just to name a few.
Andy lives north of Dallas, TX with his wife, 4 kids, a dog, two cats, some fish and Lord knows what else.
